The new head office of VIB Vermögen AG blends in harmoniously with the landscape of the surrounding nature reserve because of its open and minimalistic architecture. Dynamics, openness and closeness to nature were the key components of the design concept. The atrium forms the communicative centre of the company und mirrors the above named attributes perfectly. Galleries on every floor create an open impression. An impressive steel staircase in the middle of the atrium and asymmetric design elements in the flooring as well as in the wall design give a sense of dynamics. Big window fronts and the open room architecture reveal the nature outside, while mirrors and glass transfer the nature to the inside. The whole design concept with its interplay between dynamics and tranquillity creates a well-balanced working atmosphere and underlines the entrepreneurial spirit of VIB Vermögen AG.
