Modern warmth - the house in Munich's Bogenhausen district embodies sophisticated modernity with its open floor plan and geometric design elements. Oak wood as the dominant material lends the rooms warmth and cosiness. The clients' wish was to create a family-friendly, snug and at the same time modern home of their own.
Both the architectural and interior design planning and implementation were in the hands of the Reimann Architecture team. The central design idea was to create straight-lined axes and lines, which are created by shadow gaps and graphic black lines. The roof is a gable roof with a twist - its position within the attica creates an all-round rendered roof edge. Graphically cut-out wall openings, large expanses of glass - all frameless - and recessed, shifted wall panels with terrazzo cladding create an open floor plan.
